Helen began her career in Financial Services on a Graduate Training programme after graduating from Swansea University with a degree in Psychology. Initially training as an IFA, various technical roles led to a specialisation in Inheritance Taxation and Trusts and, in 2007, to her becoming one of the youngest to achieve Chartered Financial Planning status.
After taking time out to have her two children, Helen became a tutor for one of the industry examining boards and then a free-lance technical Paraplanner, while simultaneously taking further professional exams which led to her becoming a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society in early 2014.
Helen joined Fiona Gray Financial Planning in September 2014 as the Technical Manager, a role that enables her to work the school hours around her primary school-aged children.
Outside of work Helen keeps fit through regular exercise classes, walking and cycling. When she finds the time she also enjoys playing the viola and venturing on camping trips with her husband and family.
